For a single molybdenum ore, the flotation method can be used to enrich the molybdenum concentrate. In the single molybdenum ore raw ore, the molybdenum grade is very low, usually only 0.01-4%, while the molybdenum concentrate requires the molybdenum grade. To reach 45-47%, the enrichment ratio is very large, so multiple selection operations are required. The typical process is “coarse grinding and rough selection – regrinding and selection”.
1. Jaw crusher + cone crusher: crushing and screening

The crushing of molybdenum ore adopts a two-stage and one-closed-circuit crushing and screening process, that is, the jaw crusher and the cone crusher are used to crush the ore in two stages, and the circular vibrating screen is used to connect them. The material under the screen is less than 15mm. The material above 15mm is sent back to the crusher to continue crushing, forming a cycle.
2. Ball mill + hydrocyclone: grinding and classification

The grinding and classification stage adopts a three-stage closed-circuit grinding and flotation process. The ore particles below 15mm after being processed by the crushing equipment are sent to the ball mill for rough grinding. After rough grinding, they are sent to the hydrocyclone for a stage of classification, and the unqualified underflow is sent back to the ball mill for grinding.
The qualified overflow is sent to the second-stage classification of the hydrocyclone again, and the unqualified underflow is sent to the second ball mill for grinding. , which is the second closed circuit.
The particle size of the product produced in this way can account for more than 80% of the material of 0-200 mesh.
3. Flotation machine: selection

The overflow after the second-stage classification can be used for roughing with the flotation machine after dosing. The foam product is returned to the previous step and the tailings can be discarded.
Once the selected foam products are sent to the hydrocyclone, this is the third stage of grading, and the unqualified underflow is sent to the ball mill for re-grinding, which is the third stage of closed circuit, and the fineness of the material produced this time is 0-400 The target material can account for 88%.
4. Thickener + filter press: dehydration
