A spiral chute and a shaking table are used to sort the tailings of a gold mine to obtain gold concentrate; the ore in the spiral chute is treated by a combined process of weak magnetic-strong magnetic-reverse flotation to obtain feldspar powder, which can be used as a raw material for building ceramics; The coarse-grained tailings produced in the different processes are returned to the underground for filling. Using this technological process to treat the tailings can make the comprehensive utilization rate of tailings reach 61.22%.
Basic craft
The main useful minerals in tailings are gold and feldspar, and the main harmful minerals are iron-containing minerals. From the particle size analysis and the distribution of iron and gold, it can be seen that the content of iron and gold in the coarse and fine grades of gold tailings is higher, but the yield of the fine grade is low, and the separation of iron and gold in the fine particles is very high. Difficult, so the fine-grained materials can be transported to the tailings dam after being concentrated.
The distribution rate of gold in coarse-grained materials is relatively high, and gold can be recovered. The content of iron and sulfur in medium-sized materials is relatively low, and feldspar can be recovered by removing iron and desulfurizing through the combined process of magnetic separation and reverse flotation. The spiral chute has a small footprint, no power consumption, simple process, and easy to achieve coarse, medium and fine particle classification.
The “weak magnetic-strong magnetic-reverse flotation” process is adopted for the ore in the spiral chute. Weak magnetic separation removes iron filings and strong magnetic minerals, strong magnetic separation removes weak magnetic iron-containing minerals (hematite, limonite, etc.), and reverse flotation removes residual weak magnetic iron-containing minerals and sulfide minerals.
