In April 2015, the first domestic coal gangue resource utilization production line that can comprehensively extract aluminum, iron, titanium and other valuable elements was put into production in Zisenyuan Group, Hongguo Economic Development Zone, Pan County, Guizhou Province, which marked my country The utilization of coal gangue resources has taken an important step from basic research to industrial production. The production line is a comprehensive utilization project of coal-based solid waste jointly developed by Kunming University of Science and Technology and Guizhou Zisenyuan Group. Currently, it can process 5,000 tons of coal gangue annually.

After nearly two years of trial operation of the first phase of the project, it was verified that the process flow can be operated according to the experimental standards, and the aluminum yield can reach 92%, and the iron yield can reach 97%. The second phase of the newly commissioned project mainly uses “waste residue” and recycled by-products as raw materials to extract valuable elements such as silicon and alkali. At the same time, no more than 10% of the remaining residue can be used as glass additives.

The operating data shows that the annual processing of 1 million tons of coal gangue can comprehensively extract valuable elements with a total output value of 2,095 million yuan. Benefits generated by 10,000 tons of coal mines. “In other words, for every ton of coal gangue processed, 150 kg of iron red, 250 kg of aluminum hydroxide, 40 kg of titanium metal and 600 kg of silicon can be produced. Calculated at the current market price, a profit of 477 yuan can be earned. ”

The gangue bricks have a commercial strength of more than twice that of ordinary clay bricks, with regular shapes, extremely low loss, robustness and good application prospects.
