The existing circular vibrating screen in the first ore dressing plant has been in use for 10 years. Compared with the new screening equipment, the circular vibrating screen is an old and inefficient equipment. At present, there are serious cracks in the body, low screening efficiency, serious blockage of the screen in the rainy season, and maintenance. Difficulty and many other problems need to be replaced urgently. After many special meetings, the relevant departments fully cooperated with the first plant in the equipment selection work. After many studies and discussions on the equipment of different manufacturers, it was finally decided to adopt a double-layer banana screen.
The use of banana sieve for coal screening has the following advantages:
1) The screen surface is distributed in multiple sections, the inclination angle is from large to small, the thickness of the material layer is uniform, the material is quickly layered, precipitated, and screened. Compared with the traditional screen, the production capacity is increased by 1.5 to 2 times, and the screening efficiency is more than 95%;
2) The special screen surface structure is especially suitable for the classification of materials with a higher content of fine particles less than half of the screen hole size;
3) It can not only carry out particle size classification of dry and wet materials, but also apply to the dehydration and de-intermediation of materials.
The banana screen can greatly improve the screening efficiency, effectively reduce the cyclic load of the fine crushing operation in the crushing ore, avoid over-crushing, increase the storage speed of the 10% powdered ore bin, and extend the screen replacement cycle from the original 15 days to more than 6 months. Especially in the rainy season under high water content, the passing capacity is large, which effectively avoids problems such as enlarging the size of the screen to increase the passing capacity. At the same time, it realizes the reduction of the particle size of the grinding, the realization of more crushing and less grinding, reducing the power consumption per ton of mine; the size of crushed ore products is narrowed, the phenomenon of over crushing is weakened, and the problems of over grinding of ore products are improved.
