There are many issues that need to be paid attention to when selecting the type of a heavy-medium cyclone with two products of press-in material, but the most important task is to reasonably determine the processing capacity and medium circulation volume. In general product samples, two-product heavy-medium cyclones of various specifications are marked with processing capacity and medium circulation. The sample is marked as Q=100-180t/h. With such a large range of processing capacity, it is difficult to obtain accurate and reasonable values. Therefore, only relying on product sample selection is often far from the actual situation. This is mainly because there are many factors that affect the processing capacity of the two-product heavy-medium cyclone, mainly including the structural parameters of the cyclone and the floating and sinking characteristics of the feed (ie, density composition), etc., which must be fully considered.
Issues that need attention in the selection of three-product heavy-medium cyclone without pressure feeding
Like the selection of a two-product heavy-medium cyclone with press-feed material, the main task of a three-product heavy-medium cyclone without press-feed material is still to reasonably determine the processing capacity and medium circulation volume of the cyclone. Although the processing capacity of the three-product heavy-medium cyclone without pressure feed is related to the diameter of the first-stage cylindrical heavy-medium cyclone, it is largely affected by the second-stage conical heavy-medium cyclone. The processing capacity is restricted; the medium circulation volume is the sum of the medium circulation volume requirements of the first-stage cyclone and the second-stage cyclone. This is the special feature of the three-product heavy medium cyclone selection. Therefore, when determining the processing capacity and medium circulation volume of the three-product heavy-medium cyclone without pressure feed, it is necessary to take into account the processing capacity of the two-stage cyclone and the demand for medium circulation. The following comments are only for reference when selecting the three-product heavy medium cyclone equipment:
(1) The actual processing capacity of the three-product heavy-medium cyclone is largely restricted by the processing capacity of the second-stage cyclone.
