Sand selection process

On the basis of the tailings dehydration process, firstly, a cyclone + dewatering screen is used to separate and dehydrate the coarse-grained part of the tailings. The dehydrated product is used as a sand selection finished product. Since the overflow classification particle size of the sand selection cyclone is 0.1mm, Therefore, there are still more than 20% of the coarse-grained tailings in the overflow of the sand selection cyclone. In order to reduce the amount of dry tailings discharged into the tailing pond, the overflow of the sand selection cyclone is finally sent to the bottom through the conveying system. The first-level cyclone + dehydration screen dry discharge system is used for concentration and dehydration. At the same time, because the dry discharge system is set at a tailings pond of about 3km, in order to reduce the cost of tailings transportation, the existing thickener is used for underflow transportation after the thickener is concentrated. As far as the dry drainage system is dewatered, the dehydrated products are used as dam construction materials. While obtaining construction sand, it greatly reduces the cost of tailings discharge and brings considerable economic benefits to the China-Canada mining industry.
